The wedding dresses were loaned by local women who were married in the Junee district (for the most part); most of the model were from Junee High School, along with a couple of the Brides modelling their own gowns.
The High Tea consisted of home-made delicacies from the kitchens of locals – both ladies and gentlemen! The waiting staff were local volunteers and the MC for the afternoon was Junee’s own Mayor, Cr Neil Smith — who kept us enthralled with his highly amusing recollection of his own wedding during the short intervals between models.
