Love is in the air, every sight and every sound…

John Paul Young

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have certainly stamped their Royal approach for Weddings in 2018.

And in the wake of their beautiful wedding, the Junee Friends of the Athenium wish to invite you to a very special event:

Wedding Fashions Through The Years Parade and High Tea
Junee Athenium Theatre
Sunday September 16, 2018
2:00pm — 5:00pm

Come and enjoy an amazing Wedding Fashion through the Years; with wedding dresses dating back to the 1930’s. During the intermission enjoy our handmade old fashioned High Tea whilst watching dancers from So Dance waltzing and adding to the ambiance. Plus beautiful music will be played on the Athenium’s beautiful piano.

Organise your tables and enjoy a glass of champagne or punch on arrival after enjoying the viewing of the antique Model T Ford that will on display out front of the Athenium.

A Community Event

The wedding dresses have been loaned by local women who were married in the Junee district (for the most part); most of our models will be from Junee High School, along with a couple of the Brides modelling their own gowns.

The High Tea will consist of home-made delicacies from the kitchens of locals – both ladies and gentlemen! The waiting staff will be local volunteers and the MC for the afternoon will be Junee’s own Mayor, Cr Neil Smith.

We are all coming together to raise funds for The Athenium Theatre and we look forward to the Junee Community joining us for a magnificent afternoon.

Cost: $30 per head
